Curriculum Assessment Without National Curriculum Levels


As you may be aware, the National Curriculum that was introduced in September 2014 did not contain any National Curriculum levels. Instead schools were asked to devise their own systems for measuring students’ progress. At Langham School we have taken the first steps towards doing this by introducing Langham Oaks Levels for our Key Stage 3 students. The Langham Oaks Level sit alongside the benchmark standards in Key Stage 2 and the external ‘GCSE’ gradings used in Key Stage 4.


Students/Parents/Careers are able to view current assessment grading's with in the Go4Schools system.



In addition to the Curriculum assessment above, a wide range of methods are used to assess the breadth of students academic, social and emotional development.
